Decr 12th 1859

My dear Mrs Disraeli

Pray be assured

of my entire gratitude

to you for your kind

recollections of me, and

your most comfortable

& seasonable present --

It appears to me to

be the very companion

I was in want of last

evening at Merstham,

and it will certainly

accompany me to

Petersfield this afternoon,

but I am in London at

this moment for the

purpose of seeing, if

possible, Disraeli, for

whom I feel in real

distress, at the account

he gives me of his

Sisters health, who I

know is so sincerely

loved. Believe me

dear Mrs Disraeli

Yours sincerely & gratefully

W. Hylton Jolliffe
