My Dear Dis

On my return from London

I found your note.-

It was indeed with great

regret, that I heard from

Lady Dorothy of the heavy

affliction which had fallen

upon you.-

I had never the pleasure

of knowing Her, whom you

mourn, yet from others who

have that privilege, I have

learned quite enough, to

assure me of the grievous

loss you must have sustained;

Her amiable qualities and

Her gifted mind commanded

the love & admiration of

all who had the happiness

to know Her.-

With kind regards to Mrs Disraeli

Believe me yours very truly

Henry Lennox
