James Disraeli

1813 - 1868

James Disraeli, brother to Sarah, was the 'black sheep' of the Disraeli family. He was not troublesome, but he did not get along very well with any of his siblings. He lived at 3 Eaton Terrace, Eaton Square, with his wife, Isabella Anne (m. 1856); they had no children.

Benjamin, after James's demands for a sinecure, secured James a post in the Treasury as Commisioner of the Inland Revenue in 1852.
