My dear Mary Anne

I am very sorry

to tell you that Sa

is so unwell to day

that Bryant has

suggested that she

will put off her dinner

tomorrow. It is a

pain & distention

of the bowels, & I

do not think that

Bryant thought she

was better at all

this morning

Altho[ugh]' I do not

tell her so I think

it is a very serious

symptom. With

love[?] to Diz

Ever your aff[ectiona]t[e] brother,

Ralph

Gloucester P[lace].
