Dear Mrs Disraeli

I have just heard of

the sad termination

to your anxiety; not sad

for her who is gone

to a better world but

for you who are left

to sorrow for her & to

miss her kind sympathy

and affectionate

companionship --------

We are all mourners

now, my poor dear

sister inlaw is most

wretched and hers

is a trial that no

earthly comfort can

soften. One can but

pray that God may

give her strength

to bear the affliction

with which she is

so heavily burdened.

Will you give our

best regards and

to Mr Disraeli and

tell him how truly

we condole with him.

Believe me my

dear Mrs Disraeli

Yours affect[ionate]ly

Juliana de Rothschild
