Lotus Hips Mindful Yoga

My own practice includes extended periods of meditation practice in the Zen tradition.
Long periods of sitting is hard work for the core, the hips, the legs and especially the knees when the other joints are tight.
Over the years, I've evolved a set of vinyasa that have given me more freedom in the core and hips and have brought relief to my low back and knees. I've documented a number of these vinyasa here or you can explore these and other asana at the following classes.

Classes are $15 each

Hatha Yoga - Tuning the Core

Sunday: 10:30-12:00a: 
Wednesday: 8-9:15a:    
Friday: 12:30-1:45p:     

[No classes on: Dec. 20th.; 22nd.; 24th.]

A variety of meditation props and cushions are available.

The entrance is on Nassau St., ½ a block west of Spadina (2 blocks south of College).

On the south side of Nassau street and at the west end of the converted red brick school building, go down the stairs/ramp (green railing) and enter the door on the right.

There is public parking on the street. If you're driving then you need to know that Nassau Street is one way going EAST! You may want to use a map app. first time.

Public Transit The Spadina streetcar (510) stops at Nassau st. (walk west on Nassau). The Dundas and College streetcars both stop at Spadina - two blocks north of Dundas or two blocks south of College.
